What do we offer?

• We pride ourselves on small groups (no more than 18 kids per session) and one on one interaction! This means better and more personalized instruction for each child.

•  All of our weeks include, arts & crafts, trips to the park, as well day trips to different area locales, depending upon the weekly theme.

• Each week is themed with a different physical focus in the art of karate; forms, self-defense/wrist grabs, 1-Steps, weapons (padded) 

• Each week also has a character trait theme (Courage, Honesty, Humility, Concentration, etc.)

• Peaceful Warrior Summer Camps are for ages 5-12 old years only 
• Campers need to pack a lunch as well as an extra bottle of water every day! Those children participating in "extended care" are also encouraged to pack a snack for the later afternoon. 

 

 

2012 THEMED WEEKS:
Week #1: JUNE 11th - JUNE 15th: "Into the WILD" Week Campers will go see the "Madagascar 3 - Europe's Most Wanted" movie! Do "WILD" activities & crafts and go to the park and swimming at Cane Creek. We'll also learn some Italian, some Spanish & even some French!   Character Trait: Honesty     Weeks Focus: Simple Ground Defenses
      Week #2: JUNE 18th - JUNE 22nd:  "OUT-DOOR FUN"

        All things out-doors this week - PLAY! PLAY! PLAY!We'll go to Col. Davies Park, Stallings Park and a trip to see Pixar's newest creation "Brave" will also round out this week!

         WEEK #3: JUNE 25th-JUNE 29th:  "NATURE WEEK"

We are going on a scavenger hunt at the Schiele Museum! Are you up for it? We'll go swimming & do some awesome crafts too. Don't miss out, this week is gonna be WILD!

  - NO CAMP - JULY 2nd - July 6th 
   Dinosaurs are WAY cool! We are going to have lots of fun doing fun crafts, exploring dinosaurs &                                            going to see "Ice Age 4 - Continental Drift", at the movies!

WEEK #5: JULY 16th-JULY 20th

WEEK #6: JULY 23rd - JULY 27th

   "RAPTORS, RAPTORS EVERYWHERE"

 

 
Do you have raptors in YOUR backyard? Have your ever seen one fly overhead? I bet you have! Come join us as we explore all kind of these fabulous birds of prey. We'll do crafts and visit The Carolina Raptor Center too. We'll even have lunch lakeside this week!

WEEK #7: JULY 30th - AUGUST 3rd

   "HEROES WEEK"

 

                                                                                                                  Our most popular week EVERY year, hand down! We will visit local heroes from every walk of life. A trip to the Police Station, the Monroe Fire House, Harris Teeter (your local grocer) and possibly more! Of course there's crafts & park fun too!
